Youll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the broad security services Inter-Con provides its valued clients every day./ppSpecific benefits include:/ppCompetitive Pay: $20.74 + $5.95(HW Cash) =$26.69/ppRecognition and Reward Programs/ppTraining and Career Development/ppOpportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan/ppUniform and equipment provided/ppAdditional benefits vary depending on position/ppExpected Responsibilities:/pp Patrol on foot or vehicle observing and maintaining the security protection including at client facilities, stations, bus stops, and at public areas to detect evidence of damage, misuse or theft, issue written warnings./pp Prevent the public and unauthorized individuals from entering all restricted areas of Client facilities and rights-of-way./pp Routinely interface with the riding public, providing general information relative to use of the system and other necessary information./pp Prepare and submit security reports and provide assistance to investigators as required/pp Participate in Special Enforcement Unit activities to include routine fare inspection sweeps (Compass Cards and paper passes), passenger counts, onboard and in fare paid zones and report accordingly./pp Respond effectively to all calls for assistance./pp Must be sensitive to clients culture and strive to maintain a positive client brand image./pp Treat Clients employees, invitees, and guest with the utmost courtesy and respect./ppQualifications:/pp Must have an Exposed Firearms Permit (for Armed Positions)/pp Must have current Guard Card/pp Must have a valid California Drivers License or State ID/pp May be required to perform emergency duties which require physical exertion such as: standing or walking for an entire shift, climbing stairs, lifting, carrying up to 50lbs. and running./pullipCPR/AED/First Aid/Baton/OC Pepper Spray(preferred)/p/lilipMust pass a 10 panel DOT required drug screen/p/lilipExcellent customer service skills/p/lilipReliable and professional/p/li/ulpEducation and Experience:/ppHigh school diploma or equivalent/ppSpeak, read, and write English./pp1 yr or more security experience/ppInter-Con Overview/ppFounded in 1973, Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is a leading US-owned security company, providing integrated security solutions to government and commercial customers on four continents.
