Position Description
Contributes to the university's mission through research and service.
Major/Essential Functions- Conduct basic science experiments, including cell culture and animal behavioral studies.
- Collect, analyze, and present data and findings, summarized or prepared in a way that can lead to presentation or publication.
- Attend lab meetings.
Required Qualifications
Academic degree as defined by the academic unit and as appropriate for the position held. Demonstrated record of effectiveness as a researcher. Should have a record of activity which has contributed to the discipline or field of research.
In accordance with Texas Executive Order GA-48 and applicable state or federal law, this position may involve access to, work on, or conduct research involving critical infrastructure. It will require background checks, including, but not limited to, criminal history and other security-related screenings. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of these checks.
