Pay: $24.77-$37.16 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Must be available to respond to emergency calls and work in all weather conditions as needed

What you'll do
- Organize and support staff performing general and detailed facility maintenance and custodial work to ensure buildings remain clean, functional, and safe at all times
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and surrounding areas regularly to confirm cleanliness, identify needed repairs, and verify work is completed properly
- Assist with janitorial and maintenance contracts, including snow removal, HVAC services, mowing, and other building-related services to maintain uninterrupted operations
- Perform routine maintenance on office and garage facilities, including minor electrical and mechanical repairs, to address issues before they escalate
- Support building operations by managing storeroom and mailroom activities, including inventory control, recordkeeping, and mail delivery
- Set up rooms for meetings and events and assist with additional building operations duties as assigned

What you'll bring
- Ability to perform physical work, including walking, standing, twisting, lifting, and occasional climbing
- Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather and respond to emergency maintenance calls when needed
- Knowledge of floor care for hard surfaces and carpeted areas
- Experience with routine building maintenance, including minor electrical or mechanical repairs
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting, scheduling, training, and administrative needs
Qualifications
REQUIRES high school graduation, and 5 years of experience in the custodial care and limited general maintenance of buildings, including 2 years at the level of Building Maintenance Worker. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Preference given to candidates with 2 years of mailroom, storeroom or warehouse management/supervisory experience or candidates with 2 years supervisory experience and hands on knowledge in the operation of equipment directly associated with general facility maintenance including small motor repair, electrical equipment, hard surface, floor cleaning and maintenance.
