JOB SUMMARYThe EMS Chief serves as the executive leader of the City’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system, responsible for the strategic development, clinical oversight, and operational performance of a high-quality, patient-centered EMS delivery model. This position provides vision and leadership to build and sustain a modern EMS system that integrates emergency response, mobile healthcare, and community-based services. The EMS Chief works in close partnership with the City’s Medical Director, public safety agencies, healthcare systems, and regional partners to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes, system efficiency, and community impact.
