    Salary:

    $30.06 - 39.83 Hourly

    Performs professional work coordinating and managing the daily operations of all Orlando After-School All-Stars (Orlando ASAS) comprehensive before-school, after-school, and summer programs, to ensure that the educational, social, and financial objectives of the organization and the needs of the staff, youth, families, and public are met. An employee assigned to this classification performs administrative and supervisory work, planning, developing, organizing, promoting of, and ensuring the safety of all Orlando ASAS programs and facilities. Work is performed under the direction of the Orlando ASAS Executive Director and performance is reviewed for results obtained through reports, observation, performance evaluations, and conferences. The incumbent is required to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree in Recreation, Education, or related field to include Liberal Arts and Sciences, and two (2) years of experience coordinating and managing youth programs required, preferably in an after-school or educational setting, including one (1) year of experience which must have been in a progressively responsible supervisory role; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License is required. Must pass a Level 2 background check. Experience administering a budget is preferred.

    This is a full-time CONTRACT position with the same benefits as Regular full-time. Most contracts are renewable for terms of one year.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
